The Tissue Filler Injectable Certification course at Texas Laser and Aesthetics Training Academy is an 8-hour in-person program designed to equip healthcare professionals with the fundamental skills necessary to offer hyaluronic acid tissue fillers in the mid-face and lips. The course begins with a 3-hour theoretical session led by experienced medical professionals, focusing on patient anatomy, vasculature, facial balance, and consultation techniques. Following the theoretical component, participants engage in hands-on practice by performing injections on live patients within a fully functioning med spa environment, with all necessary products provided by the academy. Eligibility for the hands-on component requires participants to be a Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse. Estheticians without a medical license may enroll to observe the hands-on procedures. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certification acknowledging their training. Please note that CE/CME credits are not currently offered for this course.
Step 3 of the ABAM certification program is designed for physicians and dentists who have completed Steps 1 and 2 and are ready to further their expertise in Anti-Aging Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. Class size is limited to 48 participants for optimal learning. While no CME credits are offered, attendees receive a certificate of completion.
