PLLA‐SCA Course
The JEM Education PLLA-SCA course is designed for experienced injectors who want to expand their skills in using Poly-L-lactic Acid (PLLA) for skin collagen activation (SCA) treatments. This comprehensive course covers everything you need to know, from patient evaluation and preparation to mastering the injection techniques for the most common facial areas treated with PLLA. You will learn the science behind PLLA-SCA, including how aging impacts collagen and elastin production, as well as the contraindications and potential complications such as ischemia and nodule formation. The hands-on component of the course includes injecting multiple areas on live models, giving you the chance to refine your skills and gain real-world experience. Tools, supplies, and post-procedure care instructions will also be covered, ensuring you’re fully prepared to integrate PLLA-SCA into your practice. After completing the course, you will earn 8 CE hours and have the opportunity to shadow one of our seasoned nurse injectors at a location that best fits your needs. Product is not provided for this course, and a minimum of two years of injecting experience is required to attend.

The Novice Neuromodulator Training Course is designed for medical professionals who are new to aesthetic injectables or looking to expand their skills in neuromodulator treatments. This comprehensive course covers the essentials of injecting botulinum toxin (Botox, Dysport, or other neuromodulators) to address common cosmetic concerns such as frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet. Participants will learn the science behind neuromodulators, including how they work, dosage, and safe injection techniques. The course includes hands-on training with live models, giving you the opportunity to practice and refine your injection skills. Additionally, you will gain practical knowledge of patient assessment, treatment planning, and how to prevent and manage potential complications. The course does not provide products, but participants will receive valuable experience with live models to ensure you feel confident and prepared to implement neuromodulator treatments in your practice. CE or CME credits may be available depending on your professional designation. There are no prerequisites for this course, making it ideal for beginners or those new to injectable aesthetics.

Novice Dermal Filler Training Course
The Novice Dermal Filler Training Course at JEM Education is designed for individuals new to the field of injectable aesthetics. This full-day course will provide you with a solid foundation in dermal filler techniques, focusing on hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. Throughout the training, you will learn the science behind HA fillers, the impact of aging on skin, and how to evaluate and assess patients before treatment. You'll also gain essential knowledge about injection techniques, including both needle and cannula approaches. In addition, the course covers contraindications, recognizing complications, and the use of hyaluronidase for adverse events. The hands-on component includes live models, allowing you to practice injection techniques for the most common facial areas. While the course does not provide products, you’ll leave with the practical experience and confidence to safely and effectively incorporate dermal fillers into your practice. No prior experience with injectables is required to attend this course.

Botulinum Toxins & Dermal Fillers Level I
The Botulinum Toxins & Dermal Fillers Level I course, offered by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), is a foundational program designed for medical professionals seeking to integrate neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments into their practice. This comprehensive training combines didactic instruction with live, hands-on patient sessions, ensuring participants develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Basic BOTOX® & Dermal Filler Certification
The Basic BOTOX® and Dermal Filler Certification Class is an 8-hour, in-person training course designed for licensed medical professionals who want to begin offering injectable aesthetic treatments. This comprehensive course covers both botulinum toxins (such as BOTOX®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®) and dermal fillers (including Juvederm®, Restylane®, Versa®, and RHA®). The day begins with a lecture that reviews the history and science behind neurotoxins and fillers, facial anatomy relevant to aesthetic injections, proper product selection, injection techniques, and patient consultation. It also addresses contraindications, safety considerations, and how to manage complications. This foundational knowledge is essential for providers entering the aesthetic space. In the afternoon, participants take part in a hands-on training session where they practice injections under the supervision of experienced instructors. This allows attendees to build confidence and apply what they’ve learned in a clinical setting. The course is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and dentists. It is suitable for beginners with no prior injection experience and includes the opportunity to earn CME credits.
