It kicks off with a full-day, in-person didactic session where you’ll dive into facial anatomy, product types, patient assessment, and injection techniques like threading, fanning, and cross-hatching. You'll also learn how to manage side effects and avoid complications—crucial knowledge for anyone new to fillers. After the classroom portion, you'll schedule a separate one-on-one clinic day where you'll inject real patients under the direct supervision of a Clinical Instructor. This is a highly personalized, hands-on experience where you can bring up to six of your own models. If needed, the institute can help you source models. Filler product is provided during the training, and the 1:1 instructor-to-student ratio ensures you get plenty of individualized guidance. This course is a great fit for medical professionals (MDs, RNs, NPs, and others) who have already completed the Introduction to Neurotoxins course (which is required beforehand). You'll receive 8.5 CEUs and real-world experience you can use in your aesthetic practice right away. Class sizes are kept small to give each student focused, hands-on support in a low-pressure environment.

Cadaver Course w/ Dr. Sykes

Advanced Injection Training
The Advanced Injection Training at the Institute for Laser Medicine is designed for registered nurses who want to take their skills to the next level. This full day course starts with an informative classroom session where you'll learn about facial anatomy, safety protocols, and the different cosmetic indications for injections. You'll also cover the preparation of treatments and products to ensure you're fully prepared for hands-on work. In the afternoon, you'll get to practice on live models, performing treatments like Neurotoxin injections in areas such as the masseters and platysmal bands, along with dermal fillers in the cheeks, jawline, and chin. All the products you need are provided, including top brands like Merz, Galderma, Revance, and Revanesse. You’ll have the option to either be a model yourself or bring your own model to work on during the hands-on portion of the training. This course is designed for registered nurses, but you should check any specific licensing requirements before signing up. Art of Facial Shaping
The Art of Facial Shaping workshop from Palette Resources is a 4-hour advanced program designed for clinicians with at least two years of experience in neuromodulator and dermal filler injections. This course emphasizes achieving facial symmetry, proportion, and aesthetic balance through advanced injection techniques. Participants must have completed the online CME activity "Essential Anatomy for Nonsurgical Facial Rejuvenation" prior to attending. Additionally, attendance in the "Intro to Cannula Technique" and "Volumizing the Midface" workshops, or equivalent experience, is recommended. Attendees are required to bring their own models and FDA-approved injectable products obtained from a valid U.S. distributor. A valid medical license for the state in which the program takes place is also required. This workshop offers Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits upon completion.
