Led by national trainer and nurse practitioner Zelda Swain, NP-C, this workshop focuses on safe and effective injection techniques for the mid and lower face, specifically the cheeks and lips. Beginner Neuromodulator and Dermal Filler Course
The Beginner Neuromodulator and Dermal Filler Course at RUMA Academy is a comprehensive 7-hour training designed for medical professionals—including RNs, NPs, PAs, and MDs—who are beginning their journey in aesthetic injectables. This course provides foundational instruction on safely administering Botox and Dysport to various facial areas, as well as techniques for injecting dermal fillers into the midface, cheek region, and lips. Participants will gain knowledge in patient assessment, facial anatomy, product selection, injection techniques, toxin reconstitution, and complication management. Live models are provided for hands-on practice during the training. To engage in the hands-on component, attendees must hold a Compact Nursing License or a Utah license (PA, NP, or MD). Those unable to obtain a Utah license are welcome to attend as observers or may apply for a temporary license. A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon finishing the course.
